How it works

It is an aqueous solution of Sodium Hyaluronate and contains a number of importance ions that are also found in normal tears. It is the only lubricant eye drop preparation that contains both Hyaluronate and essential ions and as such is very close in characteristics to the natural tear film. Due to its unique formulation this ophthalmic solution offers patients with sensation of ocular dryness an unmatched combination of symptomatic relief, protection and comfort.

Usage And Safety

Dosage

Dose : One or two drops 2 to 3 times in the affected eye(s) or as directed by the physician.

Transient intraocular pressure rise .

Indication

For the relief of burning, irritation and discomfort due to dryness of the eye due to exposure to dust, smoke, air conditioning, extended computer use or contact lens wear. May also be used as protectant against further irritation. Relieves dryness and provides soothing, refreshing and cooling effects.

When not to Use

It is contraindicated in those individuals who are hypersensitive to any of its components.

Precautions

Precaution

The drops should be discarded 28 days after first opening. During use care should be taken not to contaminate the dropper nozzle by contact with the eyelid or other surface. The product is for topical external use only and should be stored out of the reach of children.

Warnings

Warning 1

This product contains benzalkonium chloride which may cause eye irritation. Avoid contact with soft contact lenses. Remove contact lenses prior to application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinsertion. Benzalkonium chloride is known to discolour soft contact lenses.

Warning 2

As with all eye drops, your vision may be blurred after putting the drops in. Wait until your vision is clear before driving or using machines.

Warning 3

Sit or lie down to instill . Open eye , tilt head back , look at ceiling , instill solution into the eye . Do not blink for 30seconds.
